Please
be aware that Daimler Benz never homologated the pre 2008
Smart fortwo (Mk7 and earlier) for towing. Strictly, therefore,
it is not legal to use ANY MAKE of Tow-Bar for towing
by a Smart 450 on a public highway. However, we understand
these may be used to mount a lightweight Cycle Rack. We understand
the new Smart fortwo, (451 Mk8 2008+), has been homologated
for light towing up to 450kg Hence we sell 3 types of Smart
towbar:
We
supply 3 types of Smart Towbar for the Smart 450 and 451 and
2 types of specialised Cycle Rack.
