  Availability
Smart-Tow is available for Smart 451 and Smart 450 as well as Citroen C1, Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo & Fiat500.
Standard installation of Smart-Tow in a Smart fortwo or C1/107/Aygo takes approx 5 hours.
  Standard Install consists of :-
Fitting of Smart-Tow towing frame utilising the manufacturers CMS bar tow points
Note: Smart 450 needs modified CMS Bar at extra cost
Fitting and wiring of SmartBoxDUO vacuum braking system (decelerometer activated) that
utilises a trailer tow board (not supplied) for rear lights, indicators and number plate.
 

Enhanced Installs:-
The Authorised Installation Centre can offer a number of chargeable enhancements to the standard install, for example:-
1. Wiring to utilise the towed vehicles rear light clusters via 7 pin cable and pigtail. Install Centre can utilise the dual sensing brake light function of the Motorhome
2. Wiring to provide a split charge of towed vehicles battery
3. Positioning of towed vehicle braking indicator in towing vehicle cab
